Quetzal Birdwatching Tour

Search for Guatemala’s emblematic quetzal with a specialist guide, transportation, and shared viewing equipment included.
Quetzal Birdwatching Tour Overview
Travel from San Pedro or San Juan to a quetzal habitat area on the volcanic slopes for a guided wildlife search. A specialist guide helps the group look and listen for the bird while binoculars and a telescope support observation from a respectful distance.
Each traveler may reserve individually, but the departure is confirmed only when at least four participants have booked. Because this is a wildlife experience, a sighting cannot be guaranteed; the value of the tour also lies in the habitat, local guidance, and focused birdwatching time.
