Leaving from San Pedro
The 5:00 a.m. service may include central pickup when vehicle access permits. For later departures, meet at the confirmed shuttle station when accommodation pickup is not possible.
Connection
The route includes an approximately 30-minute stop to change shuttles. Keep your personal belongings with you and follow the driver’s instructions.

Vehicle and luggage
Shared services normally use a comfortable mid-sized minivan with seating for up to 15 passengers. The standard allowance is two pieces of luggage per passenger.
Bicycles, surfboards and other special or oversized items require advance confirmation. An additional charge may apply depending on the item and available vehicle space
What to bring
• Your booking confirmation and the passenger name used for the reservation.
• A working phone with access to the WhatsApp number provided to Cultour.
• The remaining cash balance in Guatemalan quetzales if you paid only the deposit.
• Water, a light snack and any personal medication needed during the journey.
• Travel documents and valuables in a small bag that stays with you.
Important travel notes
- The shared service requires at least two passengers to operate.
- If the minimum is not reached, Cultour will offer a refund or transfer the payment to another shuttle or activity.
- The route includes a vehicle change, so keep valuables and essential items with you.
Booking and confirmation process
- Choose the travel date, departure time, origin town and destination town.
- Pay the full amount or the USD 9 deposit through the route checkout.
- Complete the short passenger-details form with accommodation, luggage and WhatsApp information.
- Cultour processes the request and normally sends final confirmation and shuttle details by email and WhatsApp within approximately one to two hours.
- Reservations submitted after 8:00 p.m. receive the final WhatsApp confirmation early the following morning.
Price and payment
The listed price is USD 39 per person. You may pay the full amount or reserve with a USD 9 deposit. When only the deposit is paid, the remaining balance is USD 30 / GTQ 225, paid in cash on the travel day.
Cultour uses the approved conversion of USD 1 = GTQ 7.50 for the cash balances shown on these pages. If the full amount was paid online, no route balance is due unless an extra service or special luggage charge was confirmed separately.
Changes, cancellations and service conditions
• Request booking changes at least 48 hours before departure. Changes depend on seat availability and the requested route.
• Cancel at least 24 hours before departure to request a refund of the deposit.
• Cancellations within 24 hours of departure are non-refundable.
• A no-show is treated as a used service and is non-refundable.
• If Cultour cancels the service, the customer receives a 100% refund and one complimentary activity.
• If a required passenger minimum is not reached, Cultour will offer a refund or transfer the payment to another shuttle or activity.
